For those looking for larger exports please try the formatted table feature. See https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/paginated-reports/web-authoring/paginated-formatted-table

RE: Please increase the export limit (30,000 rows csv or 150,000 rows excel) we need twice that.
I am surprised that the export limit for csv files is limited to 30,000 rows. I can understand that the Excel downloads is limited due to size of files but it is my understanding that csv files are an efficient way to export/download large amounts of data for use in Power Pivot in Excel or Power BI when one, for example, would like to do analysis for a larger set of data where one needs to combine it with a mapping table in the Composite Model.
I would like to request that the csv export option is not limited as it currently is but rather be increased to be in-line with Excel software limitations - this would allow the possibility to later import the exported data into a new Excel file or new Power BI via "get data from csv".

This is the continuation of the highly acclaimed "Export PowerBI Desktop to CSV/Excel". It is interesting how you can export from plenty of sources, but are locked up after you complete your analysis.
Lets say recently I faced the challenge of cleaning a database with up to 2 million rows. Although I could import the CSV file to PBI had to select carefully what to export through R interface.
Yes, current CSV export is limited to 10k rows and through R 150k rows. Why I cant have my database back to upload into the system?

It will be important for us, and possibly for many others, if Power BI reports have the capability to export to CSV with more than the current limitation of 30,000 rows. This is especially helpful with the automation procedures that we are attempting to run, as they seem to prefer CSV data and we have more than the current 30,000 rows. Please advise if this can be possible in an upcoming upgrade.Thank you!

Hello,
In https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/9609906-export-powerbi-desktop-to-csv-excel its been reported that export to CSV is implemented.
Unfortunately its very limited aka you can't export more than 30k rows.
Considering the fact that PBI can import hundred of thousands of rows its pretty strange that it can export only 30k rows...
I believe that a lot of people out there working with huge datasets and doing extensive ETL operations and this feature is really needed.
Also you can't export from Data tab, only from visuals which is very limiting.
Please consider to make export limit only dependent on RAM available without artificial limitations. Thanks!

Export to Excel is current 150000 max. Pleaseincrease to max of Excel. In the operation we have now to export in badges, then combine then again in Excel. Extra work. Not needed.

Hi, Can the row limit for data exported from Power BI be increased from the current max which is 150,000 rows?As an organisation the data we hold is substantial and some data that users will export exceeds 150,000 rows.
RE: Please increase the export limit (30,000 rows csv or 150,000 rows excel) we need twice that.
Currently only csv export is allowed with a 30,000 row limit within the PBI desktop. Whenever I have to export a file with more than 30,000 rows I have to publish to the PBI server and export to excel with a 150,000 row limit (sometimes still not enough) or split my report into multiple segments to get the whole report. This adds extra steps, time, and leaves room for error when splicing the report back together.
Best solution would be to extend the row limits on exports especially within PBI Desktop where there isn't even the export to Excel option with the 150,000 row limit.
