In the Line and Stacked Column chart. I would like an option in this graph or a new chat that will show dots and not the connected line.

Yes, please implement this feature or allow scatter charts to use date/time fields in the x-axis

'+1, was looking for a feature like this to place markers depicting a secondary measure that does not make sense to connect by a line.
For example when I am showing open amounts by customer and I want to place a marker in each customer bar depicting the average age of the open invoices.

I'm hopping on board with this. Seems rather obvious to me that this would be a feature as it is very often that people want to see two measures of unrelated items in a variable.

Really we just need formatting control over the lines. You can set line thickness but you can NOT set it to 0 which is what would be desired. Leave the markers but hide the connecting lines. Especially when the data is not related.
