The Before / After style options for slicers are great, and I can achieve the raw functionality I need with them. The problem is that the start / end date is greyed out for each option, respectively. I can see where this would be useful in some cases, but in most of my reports the effective start / end date is communicated either by another slicer or by the report design itself. It would be helpful to have an option to hide the inactive field entirely; not by default, so that designers have to think about how to communicate that users are picking an end date / start date instead of a point, but give us the option to hide it if we have thought through how to communicate that.
