Data Factory
Needs VotesEnable the possibility of having your own public IP for Fabric data request to external sources

As Fabric is SaaS, when trying to ingest data from an external source (on-premise server, not Azure VM, others), the public IP Fabric uses is variable and is not individual. A very common use case is that data source is not open to Internet and is behind a firewall, so data source admin asks you for de IP or IP range he has to enable on the firewall to allow my access, and there's not an answer.
1. Fabric is not working with just one IP address.
2. Even if it worked with one IP, if data source firewall accepts inbound traffic from that IP, it'd be accepting traffic from all request comming from Fabric, not only from my tenant. There would be a way to secure this proccess, so data source is only accepting my request.
I know there's the option of installing data gateway to ensure access to the tenant, but it has some retrictions like OS, tools that have to be installed in de machine, max limit ot traffic, etc. there should be a way to have a public IP as if we were working with a VM and we could configure that..
