Hello, I´m posting here this issue because I believe PowerBI have much to learn with Tableau in this way.
I use Line chart with Forecast Line, but I´m facing one problem here:
1) The Seasonality is always fixed, so for companies that have only 3 months of data I need to create ONE chart, for companies with 12 months of data I need to create ANOTHER chart, 24 months....48 months... It´s RIDICULOUS. How any developer of Microsoft stopped to think about this.
2) Every graph shows the whole information, If I select to check the last 12 months and my company have 47 months of data, it will appear 47 months of data and not the 12 months that I´m realy analysing.
Forecasting in PowerBI is not FLEXIBLE ATT ALL for any end user or developer. If anyone have some tip for me, please share here. Since what I´m doing is not 1% that Tableau offer for easy forecasting. Thank you all.
