When creating a graph via personalization, the workflow for adding in a time series is cumbersome and non intuitive.
Sample workflow:
1. User inserts a graph onto their report canvas (via personalization) and they attempt to add a time dimension (start date as an example)
Workflow: User must click start date --> Date Hierarchy --> Year
2. Start Year is added as a new field, but not displayed as a hierarchy
Workflow: User now has to select the 3 ellipses “…” --> then select Date Hierarchy
3.Once Date Hierarchy is once again selected, NOW the hierarchy is displayed as expected (several click later). This is a very non-intuitive process and, as such, difficult to train to. There should be an easier workflow to achieve this functionality.
