Create a template of which columns to show when selecting "See records" for Matrix

This idea has been thrown here and there, the oldest I found is 2 years old already and nothing has changed.
Basically when you go to See records (for example right clicking a value field in matrix), the columns shown are random and you have to manually remove and add the ones you want. However, when you get back to the report and select See records again, it's back to being random meaning you have to manually choose them AGAIN.

I'm exporting such records to Excel everyday from multiple matrix'es and it's really troublesome for me to have to do this each time. There needs to be a way to save a template of columns to show in See records for each matrix.
