Rename Table/Column in shared "Golden" dataset without breaking "Thin" report visuals

When you have a shared "Golden" dataset that multiple "Thin" reports run off of, renaming a table or column in the shared dataset breaks all visuals in the reports that use that table/column. The reports should be referencing some form of Object ID and not the user defined name for the table/column. Please make it so the report visuals don't break when a table or column name changes in the shared dataset.

I can rename a Dataflow without it causing an error in the Datasets that use the Dataflow. The Table/Column to report visual relationship should behave the same way.
