It'd be great to be able to freeze a left hand column in a table so users can scroll and keep track of what row they're looking at

RE: freeze column in a table chart
Absolutely needed. The only common feedback I get from pretty much all users is about this functionality. Please prioritize and add this feature.
RE: freeze column in a table chart
This is especially critical for PowerBI reports deployed for mobile viewing. Please prioritize this functionality.

This functionality is really needed ! Kindly try to implement this
RE: freeze column in a table chart
This functionality is urgently required for the customers - it would be great if you could install this in PBI Desktop!

2021 and still not implemented?
RE: freeze column in a table chart
Not replicating very basic, intuitive Excel functions into PowerBI tables is such a shortcoming.
RE: freeze column in a table chart
Given the issues with screen space in Power BI, this is essential - we have lots of long text strings in tables, and the lack of being able to freeze the left most columns is a major hold-up in moving people off other tools.
RE: freeze column in a table chart
Would be good if the Power BI team takes a little pause and just looks at all the little features like these and clear them off before moving to flashier items.
Sometimes a well-designed table of values can provide way more insight that any visualization and freeze columns is a must-have functionality in a table visual. In column filters would be another one.
RE: freeze column in a table chart
Some tables can be wide, not because we, the designers, want them to be, but the consumers ask for it. These same consumers are used to the freeze columns in Excel and it would be really great to be able to do the same in Power BI.
RE: freeze column in a table chart
While matrix visuals have this feature (to freeze some of the columns), some people just want tabular data that they can sort without any hierarchy, but have more columns than fit in the width of the screen. Being able to freeze some of the columns on a table visual would be very helpful.
