Stacked and Clustered column charts (including line) need the ability to have multiple column series. Much like excel can have two values displayed concomitantly on an X-Axis like Month and Sales Person. Ideally, Power BI would be able to do the same thing. Bar graphs need to have the ability to display two fields for a given axis. This might just be a labeling thing, but Let's say a user wanted the X Axis of a vert col chart to display both sales person and month for each month of data.

Power Bi is currently limited to show only the sales person and if another value is added to the shared axis, that value now a drill down. But what if we add the month to the column series. Well now each month shows up, but there is no label of what each month is. Instead, to add the label, a user has to go on a lengthy work around, and even that doesn't work well.

The ideal solution is to be able to have both values month and sales person on the axis at the same time.

Again, this is different than adding multiple values to a shared axis. When adding multiple values to a shared axis, the user is limited to the categorical breakout of any one of the levels chosen. For example, the user can start with viewing the sales by sales person, and then can break out the month, but can't see both at the same time.

By adding multiple values to the column series, the user can view both values in the column together.
