build data model using datasets from multiple tenants

insurance companies are reluctant to give remote access to internal databases to external users. all companies in the entire chain share data with one another instead in varied formats frequently which require complex & lengthy ETL processes. it results in inefficient processes, data quality issues & makes it virtually impossible to make informed decisions on time.

insurance companies however are moving towards reporting tools like power bi & the data they share rests in the cloud in their tenant space. it should be possible to be able to build data models using datasets from multiple tenants so that data is shared quickly & companies still retain control.

there is no use in having data in a cloud that functions like a restricted silo ultimately & restricts B2B communication. there should be a way to address this concern.
