The new Report Tool tip is awesome. Brings so much additional depth to reports. Something I am finding challenging is since cross-filtering is now also such an instrumental feature it is really difficult to build measures to work out what the 'highlighted' value is. Historically we could have manually go through each expected variation and build the appropriate measures. Now with cross-filtering the potential of how something is sliced is much deeper.
My idea is to pass the Parameter of the 'Highlighted' value to the Report Tooltip so the Tooltip report can access that value and do interesting things with it.
This could get even more interesting if more values can be passed to the Report Tooltip. I am finding I am making new tool tips for slight variations in dimensions, would be great if these values could also be passed through to the Report Tooltip.
Have a pseudo table of measures when on a selected tool tip report page for 'X Axis', 'Y Axis', 'Highlighted Value' etc.
