Hello!
A connector with Office 365 Forms would be useful instead my organization uses the Forms to collect a lot of informations from the custumers. How can it will be possible without needs to export the data for Excel?
Thanks!

RE: Connection with Office 365 Forms
I believe the solution is to create the form in SharePoint. Then you have access to the Excel with the replies
RE: Connection with Office 365 Forms
agree...we need a connector for ms forms for PowerBI desktop
RE: Connection with Office 365 Forms
'+1 on this idea, it seems logical that Microsoft Forms would be one of the OOTB connectors for PowerBI however it isn't. Is this on the roadmap or is there a reason why it isn't being done?
RE: Connection with Office 365 Forms
PLEASE! GOOGLE DATA STUDIO ALREADY READS GDOCS FROM GOOGLE FORMS. WILL POWER BI BE STOPED ON THAT ISSUE?
RE: Connection with Office 365 Forms
I've used "Flow" to push the relevant data from forms to an Excel document in my onedrive. Using this as a dataset is a breeze.
Flow can be a tad slow to update the XLSX though. Often a few hours goes by between submitting the form and flow working it's magic.
RE: Connection with Office 365 Forms
Ideally this should all be integrated like google sheets and its assocated forms. Another way would be for FORMs to save a shared excel file in one drive where power BI can access. Live updates will then show. seems pretty easy to me. They key is getting results without saving and creating more files.
RE: Connection with Office 365 Forms
You can use a Flow to push the results into sharepoint, but it feels a bit overcomplicated. I've tried the workaround shown here but it doesn't work.

You need to embed Forms into a web page, get a web url, use the URL to get data
RE: Connection with Office 365 Forms
Yes this would be a very logical step for Forms! Perhaps it isn't available at this present time as Forms is still in Beta? Make it happen MS :-)
RE: Connection with Office 365 Forms
Some times its frustration to find all the good work done, but lack of understanding how the workflow can be used. Is everyone working in smal islands and cant see the "big picture"? it not each amazing app that will make me use this instead of using techstuff from others
OF COURSE, MS FORMS MUST CONNECT TO POWER BI. Going via execl its like going via paper and pen
RE: Connection with Office 365 Forms
Would be great to use a form as a list item or be able to write to a list :)
