Calendar By Year, Month or Week view

My calendar idea is primarily for presenting from a data source a list of appointments from the data source in a visualization.

At the most basic level this visualization is like the outlook calendar view.

The visualization would present that there are appointments/tasks in a whole year view initially like the current 'Calendar Vizualization' in the gallery. There would the the an ability to move to the next or previous year. Clicking on a month name would drill down presenting that month in a different month view, then clicking on a week number would present a week view. Clicking on the day at any point in any of the Year, Month or week views would filter other visualizations

The number of Appointments or Task could be presented as a count changing the color light to dark depending on how many there are for the day.
