Update, we will allow some custom fonts soon in mobile and paginated reports.
With the June Desktop update, we now support updating your chart fonts to any of the fonts we currently support for textboxes. Learn more in our blog: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-june-feature-summary/#fonts We will be working on allowing you to use your custom installed fonts as well in a future release.

RE: Support for custom fonts
Agree, it is a big problem that the fonts change when the users do not have the fonts installed.
This is definitely something Microsoft should be working on soon...
RE: Support for custom fonts
I concur with this- it would be very helpful to have access to custom fonts. It seems that the biggest barrier to entry is the PowerBI Online service would need to support it as well as desktop. I think that the proposed linking method is quite sensible and well thought through. Or, embedding the font in the document would be a reasonable option.
RE: Support for custom fonts
Fonts need to be customize able like the rest of the themes (especially on Power BI Online) ... need to allow for more fonts
RE: Support for custom fonts
My company has it's own font, we are embedding power bi reports in other apps, would be good to be able to follow same style...
RE: Support for custom fonts
We need the ability to use custom font without installed font at client machine, since we can't use @import function in json to fetch the fonts from server itself.

RE: Support for custom fonts
Do need this feature up to live ...
RE: Support for custom fonts
Is there any update when we would be able to use standard fonts from Google? I see this was last responded to in June 2017, so it's nearly 3 years an no update?
RE: Support for custom fonts
we're deploying Power BI dashboards more and more for reporting on our county's COVID-19 response, and many of these reports will be public. But the standard fonts seem pretty out of place with our web design standards (we're mostly using Rubik) and it looks/feels a bit sloppy to use the other fonts. We're making due for now but importing custom fonts would certainly help here.
RE: Support for custom fonts
Since custom installed fonts may have a different number spacing, it might get hard to read the data out of tables and other visuals where values are displayed among each other. So please ensure, that the OpenType feature "number spacing" --> "tabular" is supported. By using this feature, digits are enforced to be displayed exactly among each other improving the readability.
