The ability to create multiple time dimensions without duplicating tables.
In SSAS models, it is possible to create as many time dimensions as required by the context of the date (for example, order date). Each new date dimension inherits a key corresponding to the key of the fact table. With SSAS, I end up with multiple time dimensions without having to duplicate the relational data in my dimensional model.
Is this possible?
You can manage multiple time dimensions depending on the number of relationships between the fact table and the dimension table. Like virtual dimension tables in the warehouse.
