RE: ability to add trend line to charts
Is the trend line based upon least squares? I also noticed that it seems to interpret missing data as 0 and thus the trend line is incorrect if some years are missing in the data. I am trying to compare data sets where some years are missing in some and not others but the trend is way off for those locations with many missing years.

RE: ability to add trend line to charts
I recall this feature being added in September 2016 and I was using it as recently as March 2017. Then, sometime after then the functionality was taken out. It doesn't seem to be there in the January 2018 build. Can anyone offer insight into if/ when this feature will be reintroduced?
RE: ability to add trend line to charts
Why has this idea been labeled as COMPLETED when it is still not available for bar and line charts in the November 2017 version?
All that's available is: constant, min, max, average, media and percentile.
Any ideas anybody?
RE: ability to add trend line to charts
It is not just helpful, it is a requirement from my users to be able to switch from Tableau to Power BI
RE: ability to add trend line to charts
It would indeed be very helpful if it was possible to add an exponential trendline to the existing scatter chart
RE: ability to add trend line to charts
Please re-open this one, It would be helpful if the existing scatter chart provide trend line as polynomial, logarithmic, exponential
RE: ability to add trend line to charts
It would be more powerful if the existing scatter chart provide trend line beyond linear trend, such as polynomial, logarithmic, exponential
