Our company has implemented a standardized layout for our Power BI reports. We utilize native Power BI Apps, hide all pages in a report except the default page, and include a customized “Navigation” pane to allow users to switch between pages. This approach minimizes clutter in the standard App navigation on the left and enhances the customization in UI.
However, I've encountered a limitation with email subscriptions. For example, if a report contains an “📊 Overview” page, a “📈 YoY” page, and a “📅 Previous Day” detail page, different users may need subscriptions for different pages. Currently, Power BI only allows email subscriptions for visible pages. If I attempt to subscribe a user to a hidden page, the subscription email displays the visible default page instead.
Can we change this functionality to allow report authors to subscribe users to any page in a report, regardless of whether it is hidden or not? This would greatly improve the email subscription usability and the diverse needs of our business!
