Seems like I can't pin a chart from another persons shared dashboard to my new personal dashboard. IT would be nice to be able to use their report on my own personal version of the dashboard.

Great idea. We have the concept of 'favorites' in the mobile iOS app, which we could bring into the dashboards with a personal dashboard too.

Will Thompson, what is the purpose of a dashboard, if a user can't select the cards that are important to him? In our organization we abandoned the dashboards and using only reports because of this lack.

This is such a needed feature in different business environments.
Read-only reports/dashboard's visuals must be allowed to be pinned in a personal dashboard... it really kills what Power BI and sharing dynamic reports is all about!

Why isn't this available yet? What is the point of pinning tiles if you can't pin tiles shared with you? This just killed our use of Power BI in our organization.

This is still a HUGE need.
I have authored many reports with complex calculations that I would rather not risk modification and visual errors by granting access to the files themselves.
I am deploying them to users to whom I would like to grant the ability to pin from the shared reports onto their personalized dashboards.
How is this feature not addressed yet?
It is a very large need, especially in the CSP world of managed services.

I would like this feature. It is important for end users to be able to create their own dashboard without having to give them access to the report editing permissions.
