Replace values in visuals - keeping same formatting

With the addition of so many options for formatting individual measures in each visualisation (data labels, shapes etc) it's becoming frustrating when I want to duplicate the style I've created with different measures.

Example:
Actual measure - data labels on, solid line, colour black
Target measure - data labels off, dashed line, colour green.

We have multiple actual and target measures, so creating copies of the same visual means setting all of the formatting again each time I use a different actual or target measure.

What would solve this is the ability to drag a new measure over an existing one in the values list to replace it, keeping the same formatting.
