    Multiple Value - Custom List Filter

    A report filter with the ability to copy a list of data, be it numerical or text, from an excel document and paste it into a filter allowing for the visualization to update.

    This would be similar to a Multiple Values - Custom List filter in a competitors visualization software.

    Real world example: If you have a data set that is made up of 100,000 SKUs and you want to analyze a list of 100 SKUs with different attributes, but the only thing you are interested is this custom list.

    If this is already an Idea I am happy to vote that up and remove this post.

    Hi, this requirement is basic and must.
    As of now visual level filter allow up to 2 values only. We should have minimum 100K

    Thank you. It's a great feature were in users were able to paste 200 materials in one go but found few things might make it more useful. For example, users might want to check SKU's starting with 3* or 3% or just typing in first 4 numbers of the SKU.

    I use custom filters using a prompt box with copy/paste lists of values from Excel using Business Objects every day and I need this same ability in Power BI now! I have the same issues with many thousands of product SKUs and will soon will be working with over 10,000+ store locations.
