A report filter with the ability to copy a list of data, be it numerical or text, from an excel document and paste it into a filter allowing for the visualization to update.
This would be similar to a Multiple Values - Custom List filter in a competitors visualization software.
Real world example: If you have a data set that is made up of 100,000 SKUs and you want to analyze a list of 100 SKUs with different attributes, but the only thing you are interested is this custom list.
If this is already an Idea I am happy to vote that up and remove this post.
Thanks for your help.

This is an essential feature for in-depth analytics.

очень полезная штука, нужно!
RE: Multiple Value - Custom List Filter
Very important feature - for me a number one top prio item. With that feature you enable users of powerBI to solve nearly every adhoc analysis problem

There is a list filter visual that used to be in the marketplace that I still use for my reports. The downside is this visual can not synch across pages.

This need to be implemented. Every single time I am asked to compare Tableau and Power BI or advise someone on what tool to pick for a project, I list this as a benefit that Tableau has and PBI does not.
RE: Multiple Value - Custom List Filter
Crazy that this doesn't exist natively.
RE: Multiple Value - Custom List Filter
Agree. Many other software ERP, CRM, WMS,... can create all kind of lists (SKU numbers) which you would like to quickly analyse in one or more power BI reports.
RE: Multiple Value - Custom List Filter
Please add this feature. I would like to have this as a filter pane feature, so maybe something like basic filtering, advanced filtering, and list filtering. I've tried the custom visual by DevScop, but it doesn't filter on all pages of a report, and this is critical for me.

We use SSAS models in my company and its not practical adding a custom table into the model every time you want to put a bulk filter on.
I got the SSAS model to have a blank table with project numbers on it and 10 columns so if I need to create a custom filter I can but its an overnight refresh and shouldn't be as hard as it is.
This should be a function though. It is used in every filter with more then a handful of option.
