Currently we can import a Report Template into Power BI Desktop and create a new report using it. However, it would be useful to have the option of importing a Report Template into an existing report. The option to select which Report Pages to import from the Report Template would be even more powerful and advantageous.

RE: Import report template into existing report
We need this rapid! Other tools make this(example: Xcelsius)
RE: Import report template into existing report
Good idea but even better would be nice to be able to nominate a template file for each report which would get "merged" with report on a live basis or maybe when published automatically.
For example, you could create a template file called companyX which has it's logo, some standard tiles, colors, etc.
Then each report could have this template specified.
This means if we want to change the logo or some other aspect of the template you only need to change it in one place and it will alter all reports based on this.

This would be extremely helpful in branding existing reports.
RE: Import report template into existing report
I'm working with many clients with existing reports, but I have to go ahead with old template as we don't have option to include new template in old reports.
This Feature would increase POWER BI acceptance and flexibility.
RE: Import report template into existing report
This would be very helpful since I have a bank of reports that I use that have to be rebranded and I was wondering if there was a simpler way to do that.
