When your final value is null or zero, the trend line is no longer showing anything worthwhile.
For example, you have data showing applications and enrolments over four years, with a trend line showing the conversion percentage.
You have no enrolments yet for the coming year so the conversion% is only needed for the previous years, and for the coming year will be null or zero.
If null, then the trend line doesn't something weird and shots up to infinity. If zero, then it nose dives to zero (naturally) for the final column.
It would be better if the line just stopped, before the upcoming year.
