Creating a report in Power BI Report Builder takes A LOT OF TIME.
You have to be extremely precise and careful not to mess up anything that has specific measurements.
A few examples of actions that we consider very tedious because you need to take extreme care:
Adding a column to a table (page width automatically changes to accommodate the table) - very annoying when you set page width to have to reset it every time.
Moving items too close to header/footer, the header or footer "swallows" it - changes the size of the header/footer.
Moving items too close to a table - swallows it whole again.
You can accidentally click off an element and move another.
These are just some examples, all of which would be resolved if there was a way to lock position/size in Report Builder. A simple lock function prevents anything from moving and keeps your objects in place - allows us to spend more time on data and less on visual fidelity.
