When I'm adding a calculated column in power query like valueA*valueB and there's no query folding, there's no reason for this operation for power BI to mandatory refresh all the involved data, it can use the yet stored data in the dataset.
Another related problem is that: if I append tableA (freezed with deactivated data refresh) to tableB (refreshing when global refresh launched) in APPENDtable, when I refresh APPENDtable it's mandatory for me to refresh tableA having an active connection to DBMS.
This improvement would be very helpful for efficient editing of large datasets, for using desktop to quickly import historical data without timeout and to logically separate function for fundamental data (powerquery sql like) vs derived data (powerquery dax like).
Thanks
