    Export to PDF via Power BI Embedded API

    The export to PDF feature of Power BI Desktop is awesome. Could we have this PDF support option via the embedded API to generate PDFs into a network location? Say, an UNC path. This would be fantastic for bespoke applications!

    After 1 year of development using pbi, I am now looking for alternatives due to the lack of this functionality. Our client's do not really want to interact with the report all the time, but get a pdf export of all (or selected) pages that already have filtered data. Filters already set using the PBI Embedded API...... With all the great features available, this is a little disappointing.

    I was thinking of using Kendo UI PDF export which does a great job however since its using IFRAMES the functionality doesn't work.

    Its required as the option is already available in Power Bi service. Same needs to be available as a API in embedded platform.

    This would be a very cool addition. This feature is one of the first things customers ask when watching an embedded report.

    The fact that the API lacks this functionality severely limits the ability of my organization to leverage the overall Power BI product
