Deleted .pbix workbooks are still seen in the recently used file list. Unfortunately there is no possibility to remove it directly from that list to have a better overview.
Especially "experimental" analysis I often start with a working title. But when I publish it to my collueges I want to use a more userfriendly name. And when I rename the document the older name still stays under recent.
So for me it would be helpful to have an option like in the office suite to remove such files.

RE: remove option for recently used files
This seems like a very obvious and simple to solve issue
RE: remove option for recently used files
This feature is absolutely needed, thank you.
RE: remove option for recently used files
Yes, the option to clear recently used files is needed. The option to clear all or right click the recent file and delete from the list.
The recent list only displays 9 files. If you are working on file #10, it does not show up in the recent list. As suggest by Wims, an option to select the number of files displayed in the recently used files.

Hard to believe this issue has not gotten many more votes!!!
RE: remove option for recently used files
This should have been implemented on the home (preview)
Check the permissions before populating the tiles/reports/dashboards.
RE: remove option for recently used files
Also, perhaps the lit of 9 file can be extended.
RE: remove option for recently used files
I agree with spuder ... It be very helpful to be able to remove 'recently used' from the file list.

Yes! As I was starting my introduction to PowerBI I shared early and incomplete Dashboards and Reports with my CEO. I've since deleted these first attempts, but they continue to show up on my CEO's Recent Items list. It causes confusion and doesn't make PowerBI look very good.
