Increase the data export row limit (30,000 rows max) in Power BI Report Server

The capability to export raw data from Power BI is an important function for many users.

Presently, the export data limits are as follows and confirmed at the community link below.

- Power BI Service (cloud platform): 150,000 row maximum
- Power BI Report Server (on-premise platform): 30,000 row maximum

Please increase the export limit setting on Report Server to match that of Service. Better yet, increase them both to a much higher limit as requested by others in separate idea posts.

Thanks for your feedback - we are including the ability to Export to Excel from visuals with the Jan 2020 release, and this will up the export limit to the same levels as the PBI Service (150k rows).

PowreBI is very limiting in what it can do. Tableau on the other hand can export 1M rows vs PowerBI is limited to 30K rows. I don't get why Microsoft provides tools which are so half baked.

Power BI is the lovely tool for the end users and business admins. Exporting to excel is very critical functionality for bank branches

are there any updates to this issue? We just had a PBI upgrade, and now have the 30k limit, which is causing many difficulties for us. This limit definitely needs to be removed. Thanks so much!

Hello, any news about this limitation?
As can be seen, as a table option, for example, the option of number of lines per page, limiting each page to 30 thousand lines, but for data export this limit has to increase.

Are there any news about the increasing of the rows limitation? It would be better to introduce this improvement as soon as possible.
