This would be good for applying format types too.

This solution is good work around.

Fully support the request. Huge waste of time.

PLEASE MAKE THIS POSSIBLE

'This was driving me crazy but I've found a quick workaround which only works if the columns are next to each other:
- Hold down SHIFT and use the keyboard arrows keys to select multiple columns.
- Press SHIFT + F10 to bring up the menu to hide the columns.
Still not ideal but hopefully it will save someone a bit of time.

Hi, vote for this feature as well. It's not rational at all to hide columns one by one.

Imported entities from Dynamics CRM. And now so many columns that are not going to be of value in a report , am removing or hiding one by one. It is so time consuming...also accidentally hit "unhide all" and lost 2 hours of work, as there is no undo setting for this available.

Very much agree this is a needed option. If you import an entity from Dynamics CRM; you are provided many columns that are not going to be of value in a report or dashboard. Removing them one at a time is almost not worth the time.

Could you add a 'repeat last keystroke' button, while we wait for multiple column select?

Although there is only over 100 votes here, I can see there are a couple of other ideas pointing to the same feature. The fundamental request is to be able to share Dataset across different work spaces. This is a game changing feature to move Power BI towards a real enterprise solution. "Share dataset with multiple reports" is one big step, now we just need this second step to happen!
