Enabling customized calculations at the query level for subtotals and grand totals would offer greater flexibility in reporting and preserve performance. Efficient organization of control settings to modify the style of these totals separately will empower report creators to achieve their desired appearance, while addressing their need for more control and customization in reporting.

This is a must feature. Financial reports misleading with partial conditional formating.

I'm really amazed that this still isn't added... I would say this is a quick win.

I would have thought, this should have been released when conditional formatting for matrices was released; without people asking for this.
It's weird that conditional formatting went through UAT and made it to GA without this feature.

Calling out variance to target is a basic practise. therefore being able to apply conditional formatting to subtotals is very important

Honestly some of this stuff is basic common sense , why wait for Votes for such add such a basic feature ?

Looking forward to the July 2020 release. We need this when adding month-over-month variance analysis columns (e.g, ∆$, ∆qty, ∆%). Thanks.
