If it is possible please provide the multiple columns sort . For example I want to sort the table visualization based on Priority and severity

This has been implemented for tables as of March 2020:

We're well aware, however, that more can be done to improve its discoverability--as well as to extend support for the feature to other visuals (like the matrix). Keep an eye out for future developments!

I was enjoying a nice Shiraz by an open fire when my children ran into the drawing room screaming, they revealed that upon attempting to catalogue and analyse their insect collection they were unable to sort through multiple columns within power bi. Please add this feature, for the sake of the children. Please think of the kids!

Would like a Multi- Column / Advanced Sorting Option. Trying to look at freight expenses than by Sales Number of Sales Orders, but not allowing me to do what I want without the advanced sort option.

Please add multi level (or column) sort capability to power bi.

Would also be nice to be able to custom sort columns and rows (e.g. by dragging column/row label in a desired order)

Need it Quick ! and Fast !
Just need to update Table and Matrix Visual component, it should solve 99%.
and leave the rest on power query. (build keys, use of keys.. etc)

The best workaround I have found thus far is to use the DAX function "ISONORAFTER".

I agree, it is simply unbelievable that this basic and essential feature isn't readily available.

I can't describe how frustrating it is not to have this seemingly straightforward capability. I'm scouring the internet and struggling to come up with a workaround and I can't get anything to work. Pretty please make this happen!
