We should be notified when there is a new version of both gateways. In addition, the Enterprise gateway should be updated automatically (admins should be able to turn this on/off).

Unfathomable how such an essential feature is lying dormant for almost 5 years now. This is heavily impacting our workflow, while producing an unnecessary overhead due to research for possible workarounds. Implementing this feature would improve the usability and user experience of Power BI manyfold

I see this is planned; when is it due? We're using the PowerBI Online service for our internal reports and client access, and it's crazy that the whole thing can stop updating because a gateway needs an update and there's no advance notification - or notification at all - about it until you get a failure and you login to check the dataset.

This is really sloppy and functionality that is expected for an expensive, important data service.
