PowerPoint Export to take into account filters that have been applied to the report prior to export. This is essential for users which need to filter on historic dates and then wish to export the report with those details.

Hello everyone, we’re happy to announce we’ve shipped this long awaited feature - read more about it here on the PowerBI.com blog - https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/end-user-filtered-export-capabilities-now-available/

RE: Export to PowerPoint with filters applied
I am literally exalted by the tool, an evolution for those who create reports!
But I found this thing limiting that once the report is shared, users can not export the filtered report to POWER POINT.
I have many users, the solution today is to use the windows capture tool. (keeps only the filtered data in origin, and users can not save the filtered copy and then export PPT)
Power BI allows you to do everything ... it's awesome!
Please think about this little thing, it will be useful to hundreds of people (in my case) in global terms world ... I believe tens of thousands of people!

Hi.
Now, when the cross highlighting and report-wide filtering is released with the February release, do you see any progress on the ability export to ppt with the applied filter settings?
thanks.
RE: Export to PowerPoint with filters applied
This is a major 'lack'.
If I publish a report to my users, I would not expect them to, even have the ability, to save the report with applied settings in order to be able to export the correct report-view.
I am pleased to see that the support for filters syncing across multiple report pages is now available in the February release. Also the cross filtering across multiple visuals. Persisting filter settings on a user is soon to be published in the online service.
But still the filter settings are not persisted when exporting to PPT.
I would expect this would be a 'quick fix' when all of the above is available in the service and application.

In my opinion this is the only major lack of Power BI.
Sharing the report the last ones can not save a copy, so they can not export the report in PPT with the personalization of the filters
RE: Export to PowerPoint with filters applied
This functionnality is really needed, when will it be available?

Data after filitered cant be viewed after downloading it to PPT
RE: Export to PowerPoint with filters applied
Hello, any updates on this. Even some high level roadmap information would help. Thank you.
RE: Export to PowerPoint with filters applied
Time for an update please?
RE: Export to PowerPoint with filters applied
We are also looking into this. Unfortunately without the ability to write comments on slides in PBI we are back to square one where we download old fashion way to PPT and then do performance management reviews for higher stakeholders. This is really vital feature! Any updates are appreciated.
