Provide analysis of how our Power BI dashboards/reports are being used:
Hit count, Q&A queries ran, filters applied, common actions etc.
This would allow us to track the importance and use of our reporting and see how different users interact with the data.

Dashboard level usage statistics for the dashboard owner is essential - there's no benefit of giving this to IT admins!

Would really like to see this available to Power BI Admins only rather than how it is set up currently (if you need access to Power BI stats, you have to be granted Global O365 admin rights).

awaiting updates from you. What is provided in pilot is of no use there are many things missing and no update if it is going to be accommodated in next version update or not. some of the asks of users are
* Non Admins to be able to view usage statistics for their dashboards
* number of hits on the dashboards
* number of hits on the reports
* unique number of users accessing the dashboard
* usage stats by user / by time / by unique users / per dashboard / per report / by device (mobile app , browser / desktop app) etc.
Please update at least some information

Amanda, please ensure usage reports are given to dataset/report/dashboard owners. It makes no sense to give it to an admin....

Measuring usage of PBI reports and dashboards will also be very useful for determining when older, non-PBI reports can be retired.

Dashboards owners should be granted access to usage statistics not office 365 afmins!

Not a bad start. What I typically want, though, are report refresh and view counts (direct or indirect via adashboard) by year and month, with the ability to drill down to day and hour of the day. I want to know when usage patterns change, to anticipate calls and provide help when needed.
