Pro users have the ability to schedule refresh for daily (intra day) and weekly. For some datasets, monthly is the right cadence. Can we have a scheduled refresh option that is Monthly (and lets us choose which day of the month the refresh is to occur)?

Can we consider this idea to be "improve the scheduled refresh features" that can incorporate other similar ideas? As well as refresh monthly, I'd like the option to refresh some sources within a dataset at one frequency, and some at another (or not at all). Or everything yearly, fortnightly (which could probably be rolled up into this main idea by having more than one day within the monthly option). Different frequencies per day would also be nice - right now we can only differentiate between doing every scheduled refresh on a day, or none of them, there's surely some demand to have a dataset refresh frequently during the working week, but just once a day at the weekend. Or refreshing at times other than just on an hour/half hour to spread gateway loads.

This is pretty sad this basic feature isn't present 5 years later. Let's get this off the backburner please

We only need to update our Performance Metrics monthly as the report is based on a rolling 12 months. There is no way to use the daily/weekly to make the dateset auto refresh the first day of a new month so I would have to set refresh to daily which is a waste of resources. For now I set a reminder to do the refresh. I foresee we will probably have many Power BI Reports in the future that are similar. I would think this would be an easy feature to add :)

Needs doing, have used Power Automate as a short cut and works fine.

The PBI dev team must have been fired. Simple stuff such as this should have been introduced years ago. Please MSoft, Support your users....

Just like previous comments, I cant believe that this feature hasn't been implemented. Probably because of the license model, which are based on data consumption. MS know the need for this and by implementing that feature would mean less income probably.
It's an essential feature to have in reporting!
