The current card visual forces users to overlap elements or waste copious amounts of time creating custom visuals. The new card feature should give users the ability to create multiple cards in a single container and provide a greater level of customization.

Such a little thing makes all the difference to design and presentation.
RE: Epic idea: New card visual
This would be great to create dynamics headers, like "Analysis of..." "customer X" and make it look like one header.
RE: Epic idea: New card visual
Needed things
1)left,Center and Right (i.e Horizontal alignment)
2) Top,Middle and Bottom (i.e Vertical alignment)
RE: Epic idea: New card visual
Vertical alignment also.

This is a basic feature of many other programs. I really wonder why it wasn't implemented from the start.
Come on Power BI Team, you make so many great updates, get this feature included.
RE: Epic idea: New card visual
PLEASE, desperately need this !!!
RE: Epic idea: New card visual
Voted up, but i want to share also that you can (ab)use bookmarks for this.
deselect the Icon, use formula for the button text and it has all alignment and coloring of background etc.
RE: Epic idea: New card visual
this needs to be fixed asap - such a obvious fix to be made to card visual rather than duplication of measures in model.

I think that a standard of visual formatting should be standard across all the visuals in PowerBi. Microsoft do it for Word, Powerpoint, it should be here as well. I feel report development would be vastly improved if we had access to standard formatting features.
