Allow for the creation of a corporate color theme pack. Same principle of styles in Excel: I define a set of styles (colors, fonts, background, format,...) and apply to my report items. For example, let me set the default slicer background color to a suitable shade so that all slicer created start with my default color settings. I would also like to be able to save me color scheme separately so that i can share it with colleagues to create a consistent feel.

Thanks everyone for the votes for theming! This month we finally made our report theming feature generally available: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-august-2018-feature-summary/#Theming Of course, we will continue to iterate and improve on the feature, like we do all our features, so please propose new ideas if there's something specific you'd like us to add.

RE: Allow the creation of a Theme Pack

Pre-designed PBI report and dashboard themes and flexibility of making custom theme would be handy for any organization.

Totally agree with what Pedro Innecco commented on May 20, 2016:

· It would be great if Power BI supported the same theme format as the ones used by MSFT Office applications:

1. Open application.
2. Click on the DESIGN tab.
3. Under Themes, click the MORE arrow then choose SAVE CURRENT THEME.
** This will save the colour set and font set as a THEME which can be imported.

Agreed - Corporate colors and themes are important to any large company.

Is there any estimation on when this will be implemented? The current default color pallet ain't that great. As soon as the legend has more than 6 different values we start to see very similar colors, which makes it very hard to distinguish them in the visualization.

RE: Allow the creation of a Theme Pack

Please include in this update the ability to specify consistent colors for categories... for example, if I have and "apple" and "orange" category in my stacked column, please make a way that apples can always be the same shade (controlled by a table, please), and same for oranges.
Report users/execs expect consistent colors, and not having this is very tedious...
thanks!

Desperately need this, creating templates for huge client power bi rollout and getting new users to have to enter Hex colours it is a joke, any update?

RE: Allow the creation of a Theme Pack

I need the colours in the treemap and the points on the ESRI map to be the same when the categories are from the same field in the source data.

Waiting eagerly on this feature, very important for a cohesive look and I'm sick of putting the HEX tag in every time
