Please introduce a global setting to Prevent Teams from creating PowerBi App Workspace automatically when creating a new Team. As the new Workspaces are detached from Teams/Groups this should be a setting to prevent the App Workspaces beeing clotted with empty Workspaces from all our Teams.

This is very frustrating need a fix asap, tools are supposed to be individual. I understand the purpose of groups but it's not applicable, logic need to be changed.
We had to shut down Teams and yammer because of this issue!

Just finished a round of usability testing with our Power BI users, and this was a point of confusion. Majority of Teams / Yammer / O365 groups don't make sense to have PBI workspaces - only a minority would have relevant report collaboration needs, and there could be a flow in Azure admin portal to add a connected PBI workspace, and/or flow in PBI - similar to how a Team can be connected to a pre-existing O365 group. Please fix this to help declutter the Power BI navigation experience, especially important for novice users!

This is against our Power BI Admin rule. we only allow authorized user to create Workspace now everything one can create a app workspace.
one of our power users already discovered this and he has asked his team member to create more team workspace. As Admin, I am used to control the workspace creation, now this is totally out of control now.

not only for Teams, please do the same for Planner - as there is the same issue with the automatical workspace creation.

Ive gone into Power BI admin and to workspaces
We have 66 Old Classic Workspaces (Groups) cluttering Power BI that really need removing. They are needed as an Office 365 Group but they aren't needed as a Power BI Workspace
I've been upgrading the Classic Workspace to New in Power BI Service on Groups where I'm an admin and then deleting them. Annoying but doable but it takes up way too much time.
This really needs sorting out. It doesnt make sense to me that Classic Workspaces are created when we should be using the New workspace experience

This is a very serious problem. We should be able to control which App's the O365 Workspace is available within on an app by app basis, and have tenant level settings that control which apps the workspace proliferates to when it is created.

Agree with the masses. This is a must have. I've got people going into Teams and creating all types of workspaces that nobody will use. Most of the organization doesn't even know what Power BI is yet. We need a way (starting YESTERDAY) to stop these from being created.
