Ability to select/click a row on the table or chart and be able to contextually go to another report , with appropriate filters. This is only useful when we are able to hide the pages in the report and they appear only when something is(row or cell) selected on a table or similar chart.

I'm pleased to say that the September release of Power BI Desktop includes the capability to drill between report pages. More details in the blog post here: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-september-2017-feature-summary/ There are a couple of related ideas that you can vote on if you'd find them useful: Drill into an SSRS report: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/6740219-ssrs-reports-for-drill-down-into-detailed-reports Drill to a transaction details page: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200/suggestions/13662768 Thanks for your support and votes!

RE: Drill to a report page
I have the scenario that I would like to apply a navigation pane on the report page itself, so the user can see where he is. Since everything so far is clickable, I would like to have the navigation pane clickable as well, so the user could jump back from the report page to the Dashboard etc. I am using images to visualize the navigation pane. The solution I need would be that I could attach a hyperlink on this image as I can do on the Dashboard.

When you accumulate 10 or more tabs for example it would be helpful to have a HOME PAGE that allowed a user to navigate with HYPERLINKS to selected views, or tabs in Power BI Desktop (and PowerBI.com)
The tab views construct was a great invention 25 years ago BUT Pretty Cro-Magnon when it comes to a modern BI interface.
RE: Drill to a report page
Is there an EAT on when this feature will be available?
RE: Drill to a report page
Button/Image/Icon/Link to navigate to other report would be fine
RE: Drill to a report page
Need to be able to navigate across pages in a report from a main menu page to pages within the report, and/or to other reports. This is pretty basic document hyperlinking which I can't understand why it has not yet been incorporated into the Desktop PowerBI. Note that we need it in the Desktop for clients who are restricted from having data "in the cloud".
RE: Drill to a report page
It will be great if this option is extended to getting direct link to a certain page of the report while publishing it.
Many thanks!
RE: Drill to a report page
Do you have any ETA on this still please?
RE: Drill to a report page
Is there a timeframe for release of this functionality? -- ie first page of BI Report being an index that can drive to other report pages via a hyperlink?
RE: Drill to a report page
I have two scenarios where this is very necessary - and currently not possible, as far as I can tell. 1) Parent-child tables, where navigating to a record in one visualization (parent table) would select the corresponding rows in another visualization containing the child table. 2) Some of our tables are so huge that they cannot be accommodated with the 1GB report size limit of Service or the 1 million row limit of direct query. For these, we are building tables containing totals. As the user analyzes the totals, it would be great if they could click on a row and link to a visualization based on the underlying details table. (We are beginning to experiment with Analysis Services to see how much of this we might accomplish there.)
Thanks, this functionality will be very helpful. I hope to see it in preview in the not-too-distant future.

Agree, Tableau allows me to easily create a custom link that will pass parameters for the selected viz and render an SSRS with the details. These are just point to existing SSRS reports.
