Enable selection of the default scroll position for the x-axis on a chart. For example, on a line chart with dates as the x-axis, when not all of the data can display in the view at once, the scroll defaults to the beginning/left end of the x-axis and the most recent dates are at the far end causing the end user to always have to scroll to see the most recent data. If you could set the visual to default to the right end, then the user would only have to scroll if they wanted to see more history.

RE: Set default x axis scrolling position
This should have been there from the beginning. Really basic thing to want.
RE: Set default x axis scrolling position
After more than three year asking for, that really should get fixed.Showing new data at the left end of a time series chart is as counter intuitive as it can get.....
RE: Set default x axis scrolling position
My favorite part is a Microsoft employee on another thread telling a user to sort the x-axis in the opposite direction. In no world do you have the most recent date on the left of a graph.
RE: Set default x axis scrolling position
Having this functionality would be very useful.
RE: Set default x axis scrolling position
It's very sad having to conclude that since 2020, Microsoft stiil seem to not even be a little ashamed by this obvious omission. The request is so basic and logical that we shouldn't even have to bring it up but as it seems, we have to keep adressing it as a necessary option so we do: please Microsoft, wake up and fix this now!
RE: Set default x axis scrolling position
Very useful since the total column is also on the right
RE: Set default x axis scrolling position
Yes please, this is still an obvious need.
