Please add the capability to export Report Server PowerBI reports to formats like pdf, word, powerpoint. Some of this functionality exists in the service but please add it to Report Server.

We'd hoped we'd have a good way to bring this functionality to the server - however, after a lengthy evaluation of all the options and required investments, we're not planning to bring this feature to the server at this time. As a workaround, we suggest using the Export to PDF capabilities in Power BI Desktop for Report Server.

We and Our customers are looking for 'Export to PDF' feature like SSRS in Power BI Report Server. Any update on in which release Microsoft will include this feature?
Appreciate your help.

Hi,
in the post on your blog you didn't mention anything about any restrictions for Live Connection to Analysis Services. why?! We use cubes!
and why we can (can't in our case) subscribe our clients - people outside our company, who don't have power bi pro license.
We were looking so long for this feature. And now it is totally useless for us

We're looking for sharing features to be available to non-designers. That report consumers/viewers can use them when embedded, using any of the embed methods.

For example, enabling RDL is most useful (for us) when this can be shared outside the power bi app and the power bi service.

In the same light, export to PDF is most useful when its embedded, ie beyond Power BI app and beyond Power BI service.

Ability to schedule PDF export at any given time and send it via email or save on a specific location just like SSRS subscription.

"We don't want to have to save the report to export the changes we need."

RE: Export Report Server Power BI report to PDF

In apps.powerbi.com export to ppt is available. However, it exports the last saved version of the report. If you update filters or drill in to data changing the data displayed, and export (without saving), the filters and such aren't applied in the the export. I think it's important to add that with the export capability in SSRS, we should have the ability for the changes made to filters and the like on screen (without saving) to be applied when exporting the report. We don't want to have to save the report to export the changes we need. We have multiple users using the same report that need to export (with different filter value requirements) and as you can imagine having to save it first would be a disaster.

We want to problematically (C#) execute Power BI reports on Report Server and then export static visualizations to PDF,
