Power BI
CompletedConditional formatting (cell highligh, font, etc) when comparing multiple fields
PowerBI needs to have the ability to offer conditional formatting of based on the comparison of 2 or more metrics. For example if metric A = metric B then change the font and highlight color of the cell to red.
If metric A > metric B and metric A < metric C then change the font and highlight color of the cell to green.
This should be unlimited for how many colors can be used. Other BI tools offer this feature.
Note that this is different than what PowerBI currently calls ‘conditional formatting’

As of our May release, you can now conditionally format a column by another field. Which means you can create a column that does your comparisons and then use that to format anything in your table or matrix. If you have other suggestions for conditional formatting options, make sure to vote on those as well! https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-may-2018-feature-summary/#conditionalFormatting

'+1 for this feature !
RE: Conditional formatting (cell highligh, font, etc) when comparing multiple fields
It would be very important if conditional formatting can apply too at dimensions columns and not only at meassure columns.
In several case, it is necesary give the same color to a full row, and if conditional formatting apply only at meassure columns we can not achieve it.
RE: Conditional formatting (cell highligh, font, etc) when comparing multiple fields
It still does not directly format based on the comparison like if A>B then highlight color green or else red. We still have to hard code Numerical values or use the Minimum and Maximum as for color coding.
Can we perform conditional formatting based on another field only in table visualization? Will this be extended to other visualizations like clustered column too?

kudos!
RE: Conditional formatting (cell highligh, font, etc) when comparing multiple fields
In addition (as it does not appear to be mentioned specifically in the request), the formatting should not be limited to "measures", or more specifically numeric values, i.e. we should be able to apply formatting based on text/date values too.
RE: Conditional formatting (cell highligh, font, etc) when comparing multiple fields
Do we have an update already?

I agree. Conditional formatting at the cell and row level.
