There is a simular request regarding non-english sharepoint list. http://support.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi/suggestions/7318742-sharepoint-list-for-non-us-countries
RE: SharePoint/Office 365 List Data Source
gentlemen.... yes, it is supported in PowerQuery and PowerBI Designer... but only... if the Sharepoint-Site is in english...
Microsoft never resolved this problem for years... and I think there is an international market out there with different language settings
RE: SharePoint/Office 365 List Data Source
This is supported in Power Query and the Power BI Designer. You could already connect to these sources, build your reports and upload them / schedule refresh in the Power BI service for them.
Thanks,
M.
RE: SharePoint/Office 365 List Data Source
'+1 on SPO List Source for Power Bi
RE: SharePoint/Office 365 List Data Source
If Office 365 is really trying to capture SMB's, Power BI with List data would be an obvious add. Kind of absurd that the built in Office 365 data structure doesn't merit inclusion in the primary data analysis tool. I know lists are limited, but it's acore feature of Office 365 and most O365 users have a ton of data there.

SharePoint Lists are critical for my organization, we store most of our operational data in Lists. Thanks!
