Freshdesk have recently added a new API based reporting scheduler which is much more useful to connect to than the normal API - now that is in palce this would be really useful.

we are using freshdesk for our helpdesk. it would be great if we could pull the data into Power BI for reporting

We use PowerBI for a lot of our work and Freshdesk link would be really great, helpful and supportive to our needs.
