The primary axis are outdated and require significant improvement when compared to Excel. This makes it difficult for report creators and often leads to problems when trying to manage and style them effectively. By offering more format settings, greater control over displayed data can be provided, especially if axis ticks, new gridlines, and separators are also included.

RE: Epic idea: Advanced primary axis
I'm copying a visual made in Excel into PowerBi and being that these are both microsoft products, I should have the same options (if not MORE) in powerbi as I do in Excel.
RE: Epic idea: Advanced primary axis
I just spent half an hour searching for this functionality rather than checking online - I was so certain it had to exist and I was just being blind. How is this not a day 1 feature?
RE: Epic idea: Advanced primary axis
Agree, this should be available
RE: Epic idea: Advanced primary axis
Is there any admin who ever cares about this topic?
RE: Epic idea: Advanced primary axis
The year is 2023 and Microsoft doesn't think this feature is important still
RE: Epic idea: Advanced primary axis
Please include this feature on Power Bi charts. It's kinda weird that Power Bi can't do what Excel can do.
RE: Epic idea: Advanced primary axis
There are at least 2 ideas here, both now around 7 years old, with combined nearly 2.5k votes. How are you managing to avoid this basic and necessary feature?
RE: Epic idea: Advanced primary axis
Our director knows the importance of how graphs should convey a story and being able to set the line intervals is a huge part of that, please make this ability possible!!
RE: Epic idea: Advanced primary axis
This is such a basic feature - it is bizarre that it is not offered yet. You can do it in Excel and even PowerPoint! Hard to explain to people who don't create on PowerBI that the feature is legitimately missing, when even they know it's possible in other programs...
