The primary axis are outdated and require significant improvement when compared to Excel. This makes it difficult for report creators and often leads to problems when trying to manage and style them effectively. By offering more format settings, greater control over displayed data can be provided, especially if axis ticks, new gridlines, and separators are also included.

RE: Epic idea: Advanced primary axis
This is definitely needed! Especially considering that the "auto ranges" are so large sometimes.
RE: Epic idea: Advanced primary axis
Please, we need to be able to define the interval between horizontal gridlines to be able to better identify vertical bar sizes.
RE: Epic idea: Advanced primary axis
Unbelievable that this is still missing.:-(
RE: Epic idea: Advanced primary axis
How is it nearly the end of 2023, and we still don't have such a basic option as this?
RE: Epic idea: Advanced primary axis
Please Microsoft! If Excel can do it then PowerBI should be able to do it too
RE: Epic idea: Advanced primary axis
How is it Excel has this feature but PowerBI does not?
RE: Epic idea: Advanced primary axis
Control over charts in Power BI should be at least as comprehensive as it is in Excel. Basic line charts in PBI are terrible - you can't display the axis lines, change scaling, and many other things. They look like charts in the DOS version of Lotus 123. Please consider improving chart capabilities to the level Excel has had for decades.
RE: Epic idea: Advanced primary axis
Don't think this would be a big lift from Microsoft to include this feature but it would certainly provide a lot of value for the community!
RE: Epic idea: Advanced primary axis
I too would like the ability to change the Y-axis interval to make the result more readable, and more meaningful to my users
RE: Epic idea: Advanced primary axis
Why this feature is still not there???
