It’s challenging and time-consuming for both new and experienced report creators to organize data when trying to split cards into categories. By introducing small multiples, it could be a familiar and easy way for report creators to intuitively categorize data, especially if they had more control over layout and formatting.

RE: Epic idea: Small multiples for cards
Please add orientation and allow image sizing.
RE: Epic idea: Small multiples for cards
A little customization would go a long way. Add columns or set width would make this a much more useful tool.
RE: Epic idea: Small multiples for cards
Why has this not been addressed yet? Tableau would never...
RE: Epic idea: Small multiples for cards
If you can't make an option maybe you can make a multi row card an actual multi row card, not the silly way it behaves now, which borders on the unpredictable, and for long variable names you can only do multi-columns. Microsoft has a million products where you can choose rows and columns, surely this is a very easy fix.

this should allow to have miultiple rows or columns as business partners want. Its not in for architects or developer but is a requirement from business;.
RE: Epic idea: Small multiples for cards
At the very least the lack of a Vertical/Horizontal toggle needs to be addressed for this out-of-the-box visual. We shouldn't have to make our own visual or still be using "just make the card more narrow" workarounds in lieu of a very basic ask for functionality that could've been predicted as a need during the planning for the multi-row card.
RE: Epic idea: Small multiples for cards
I agree with this need
RE: Epic idea: Small multiples for cards
Agreed, needs horizontal/vertical option
plus
- alignment option to labels and values, left/right/centre
- conditional formatting to allow highlighting of negative values
RE: Epic idea: Small multiples for cards
Would love to be able to format the number of decimals appearing on card fields
RE: Epic idea: Small multiples for cards
This would be amazing, as this is currently the best way to structure multiple data cards into groups
