RE: incremental refresh for Power BI Pro
Need this feature for rolling out PowerBI as the one stop shop for Self BI
RE: incremental refresh for Power BI Pro
If I compare Qlik with Power BI, one disadvantage that we have with Power BI is that the incremental feature is not available. It is a real weakness for Power BI.With Qlik, you can created QVD file and use the incremental Load:
1.Load new data from Database table (slow, but few records)
2. Load old data from QVD file (many records, but fast)
3. Create new QVD file
Procedure must be repeated for each table
We need the same feature for Power BI. Do we have a roadmap for this feature?
RE: incremental refresh for Power BI Pro
Incremental refresh urgently needed
RE: incremental refresh for Power BI Pro
any update if this topic will be implemented soon? I tried a work around with a DAX Union Formula but it seems that there is also a bug in it...
This feature is absolutely necessary for our worldwide roll out of power bi!
RE: incremental refresh for Power BI Pro
Absolutley a must have!!
RE: incremental refresh for Power BI Pro
Need this. A very important feature which is missing in the Power BI!!!
RE: incremental refresh for Power BI Pro
This is a definite requirement. It is ridiculous to have to add data from day 1 with every refresh. An append query would do this nicely and save a lot of data exchange.

Need this
RE: incremental refresh for Power BI Pro
This seems very basic, surprised its not standard feature. I'm still trying to understand why Append query wouldn't do this.
RE: incremental refresh for Power BI Pro
A very important feature which is missing in the Power BI. Lack of incremental data is needed for all the reports which require daily / frequent refresh and updates.
