Power BI reports with more than 50 report pages cannot be exported

Currently, you can only export those Power BI report where total report pages are less than or equal to 50. If a report has more than 50 pages and you try to export it (PDF/PPT) you get an error message saying:

Unable to export more than 50 pages
Your report exceeds the maximum number of pages we currently support. Please reduce the number of pages and try again.

I have a huge Power BI report (more than 50 pages) and is currently embedded in a .NET application. The team is using REST API which triggers an export request on Power BI services but it fails every time as the report exceeds the maximum page limit. We have also tried various workarounds like sending export request (via API) for a limited number of pages but none of them seems to work. The 50 pages limitation supersedes everything.

We do not want to create multiple reports (with less pages) as the different sections are interlinked and this will be a mess to maintain moving further.

I have seen multiple people facing this issue, thus raising an idea here. Please upvote to get the limitation removed.

Extremely frustrating. This is actually a big thing preventing my company from getting a lot of use out of Power BI. For some reason, people still need an actual report file and some people still even insist on PRINTING reports! Please help us deal with the luddites!

The amount of time I spend every week dealing with the necessary workarounds to solve this one issue is ridiculous. Some of us have huge models than unify multiple data sources from separate systems. This means we have 50+ pages of reports that go out to different sources.

I have to go through and create local copies, SELECT EACH TAB, DELETE EACH TAB, then publish each abbreviated report. Why are these simple tasks such a slog? Let us select multiple tabs, let us hide tabs. What should be an easy process turns into a wasted day just doing busywork.

I agree as well. Report @ WW levels need more than 15 despite I can tend to agree than avg people reading more than 15 pages attention would drop definitely.
